Bangkok Rooftop Bars Photo Gallery

The Marriott at Sukhumvit is a bit far from the main tourist sights, but its rooftop bar spans several floors and has an uninterrupted view of the city from a unique angle.

The Banyan Tree has a rooftop bar and restaurant that is completely exposed to the elements with unobstructed views on all 4 sides.

The skyline view is well-worth the drink, but not necessarily a much more costlier dinner.

Winter is a great time to visit Bangkok. The skies are clear and the visibility is quite good. You can clearly see the Chaophraya's bend.

Closer to the river, the Millennium Hilton also has a rooftop bar and restaurant. The restaurant occupies the enclosed bubble on the right side while the rooftop bar was open on both sides. After a long day of sightseeing, I was relieved to see a happy hour buy 1 get 1 free special.

No bar tables are set up on the south side of the rooftop terrace.
