Wuyishan's rocky landscape is quite scenic, and walking the spaces between these rocks can get quite interesting. One Line Sky is an example where the rocks almost meet but leaves enough opening for the light to seep in from above. From the bus stop, it is a long walk along paved paths with many other tourists.
There are actually 2 paths - left or right. The right one is narrower but the left one is just as interesting but far less crowded.
A lot of visitors were slowly making their way along the right path.
My path was relatively empty.
It is a strenuous walk up to the top of the hill, where you need to walk back down through the forest to the bus stop.
Various shuttle buses whisk visitors between the sights around this huge park. Here are some more photos of the river and mountain scenery.
