Alicante Photo Gallery - At the Beach

With a wonderful warm and sunny climate, coupled with the Mediterranean coastline, Alicante has beaches just steps from the historic centre. I didn't pack for a swim day, but many other tourists did. Just a short walk away closer to the historic centre is a marina with plenty of nice boats. Beautiful mosaics are paved along the waterfront promenade with a sprinkle of palm trees. This tropical paradise is only a short 2.5 hour flight from London. With only a full day, I didn't have a chance to head over to Benidorm to see its beaches and resorts. I came here because of the stunning castle, so my quick city tour could only cover the historic centre.
