Athens Photo Gallery - Lycabettus Hill

Greece Flag

Rising 277m to the highest point in the city, Lycabettus Hill is a great place for a panoramic view. The Greek mythology says the goddess Athena created the hill when she dropped limestone originally destined to build the Acropolis when a raven gave her some bad news that startled her.

The trip is made easier by a funicular so you don't need to hike up with your legs.
