Bristol Photo Gallery

Bristol is a nice city getaway from London, with trains taking as little as 1.5 hours although I combined by visit with nearby Bath and Stonehenge into a 2 day excursion.
Situated on the River Avon, Bristol was a major inland port for the transatlantic trade. This brought enormous wealth during the 18th century, fuelling construction of grand buildings in the city.
