Chongqing Photo Gallery - Planning Exhibition Gallery

Chinese cities have grown tremendously in our generation and they tend to have good museums about their development. The Planning Exhibition Gallery was relocated here along the Nan’an District riverfront in 2022. It is free to visit but geared more towards Chinese audiences with little English text.

This is what Chongqing's city centre looked like during the Qing Dynasty.

While this place is not that easy to get to since it is not near the metro station, the setting is actually perfect since you can see the skyline from its windows so you can visualize the text and exhibits to see today's Chongqing.
