Guizhou Photo Gallery - Huangguoshu Waterfall

Just 120km from Guiyang, Huangguoshu Waterfall is not just 1 but a series of falls of various sizes. There are 2 major sightseeing areas with buses running between them. I start at Tianxing Bridge, the southern section.

The long walk here passes through river sceneries, rocks, waterfalls, and mountains.

Tianxing Cavern

The sightseeing route is well-marked and one-way so it is an easy stroll along the river.

The Galaxy Waterfall is only about 10m high, but is beautiful because of its many branches and dimensions.

After a good walk in this southern section, it was back on the bus to return to the main site. The paths are also paved and it was an easy walk to the Huangguoshu Waterfall, which includes going behind it. While it is not tall, at only 77m, it widens to over 80m during the summer.

The one-way walking route ends with a long escalator to reach the park's exit.

Finally, don't forget to stop at the Doupotang Waterfall, 1km upstream. It is over 100m wide and drops 21m.
