Guizhou Photo Gallery - Malinghe Canyon

Malinghe Canyon extends 75km long with the narrowest part being only 50m wide and the deepest part reaching 500m. Tianxing Gallery is located near the town of Xingyi in the southwest part of the province with a huge elevator bringing you right to the canyon floor. Paved paths continue along the river towards the waterfalls.

Another access point to the canyon is south of town at Wan Feng Lin. A road heads uphill, offering views of the agricultural fields set amidst many cone-shaped karst peaks.

This area was once an ocean, but land began to form around 280 million years ago and it evolved into today's interesting landscape.
