The Pride of Hong Kong:
Three Preeminent Collections of Ancient Paintings and Calligraphies

93 masterpieces from the Tang to Qing dynasties from 3 collections are on display in this summer 2025 exhibition. During the mid-20th century amidst political turmoil in China, many national treasures found their way for sale in Hong Kong. With a passion for painting and calligraphy, 3 collectors wanted to keep them on home soil, and the Xubaizhai, Chih Lo Lou and Bei Shan Tang collections were born.
