On July 11, Citybus announced that the hydrogen double decker bus will make its maiden cross-harbour trip on the coming Sunday running route 170 with 2 trips, 1 from Wah Fu and the return trip from Shatin. This bus was previously deployed on various Kowloon routes since February 2024, such as routes 20, 20A, and 22M.Citybus currently operates a few electric and hydrogen double deck buses and plans to run a full fleet of zero-emission buses by 2045.
