Hoi Ha is a small village that serves as the gateway to a 260-hectare marine park just offshore. This area is famous for its corals thanks to good water quality, hosting over 60 coral and 120 fish species, making it a popular diving destination. From the 19th century until just before World War II, the lime kiln industry refined oyster shells or coral skeletons for construction and agriculture, with remains of 2 kilns found in the area.
