The 2 month FunFest at the West Kowloon Cultural District features Ephemeral, a large art installation along the waterfront promenade with large rainbow-hued bubbles. Inspired by the pandemic, the artist wanted to communicate the feeling of transient beauty and to live in the moment through the idea of the bubble.The bubble is made of colour-reflecting dichroic film that reflects differently as the sun moves, giving out a unique rainbow of colours from every angle.
