Formerly a run-down group of buildings, this block that once housed many sneaker shops was redeveloped into The Forest, a shopping mall with a sports retail theme. Residences sit on top of the mall. The project was completed in 2017.
Head to the top floor for the small but leafy rooftop deck for a view of the buildings around you.
Pockets of redevelopment have risen amongst these blocks.
A pedestrian bridge looms above Mong Kok Road and is being extended about 100m past Nathan Road. However, it has taken 10 years to build and is expected to open in 2021.
Quiet residential streets prevail a few blocks west of Nathan Road and south of the MTR station. These parts are still accessible to the bustling markets and shopping malls.
