Hong Kong Photo Gallery - Yau Tong Redevelopment

An industrial area by the harbour in the eastern stretches of Kowloon, Yau Tong is being transformed into a residential district. However, being neighbours of noisy and dirty factories is not exactly what new residents want, so developers have slashed prices to entice buyers to come.

Montego Bay consists of 2 23-storey and 2 29-storey residential towers on a harbourfront site just a short walk from the Sam Ka Tsuen tourist seafood market.

The harbour views from here are quite good.

There are plenty of construction sites in the interior streets.

The Coast Line consists of a coastal and inland site across the street from each other and divided into 2 phases.

Peninsula East is among the older redevelopment projects in the area, dating back to 2016 with 2 towers of over 250 units.

The old Yau Tong is still quite evident with a concrete factory and cooked food market in the vicinity.

From the seafood market, the changes are quite evident as a skyline emerges.
