London Photo Gallery - 50 Fenchurch Street

As part of 50 Fenchurch's redevelopment into a new skyscraper, excavations around and beneath a 700-year old medieval church have turned it into a suspended state 45 ft above the "ground".

The 60,000 square foot construction site involved extracting 125,000 tons of earth, which was completed in September 2025. The full redevelopment is expected to last into 2028 with a new 36-storey tower and the church will become part of a public outdoor space.
