Naturalists' Notebooks (July 2025)

The Linnean Society was founded in 1788 as an organization devoted to natural history with both academics and enthusiasts on its membership.

Naturalists kept their notes and drew the natural world in these notebooks, and helped share their ideas with others. The Linnean Society has showcased a sample of these in their beautiful Upper Gallery at Burlington House, just across the street from the Fortnum and Mason on Piccadilly.

The route up is also quite beautiful with a nicely-decorated staircase.
