London Photo Gallery - Olympia Heatherwick Studio Open House Tour

During the Open House Festival, Heatherwick Studio hosted an architecture and design tour of the redeveloped Olympia. A key highlight was going up the office tower to enjoy views of the city from one of its landscaped terraces. The tower itself was built in a set-back fashion to reduce its visual and lighting impact on neighbouring buildings.

The architectural details are quite interesting with wood, stone, and many details. The tour was led by a Senior Associate at Heatherwick who was involved in the design concept's implementation, working with manufacturers to deliver the bespoke designs.
