The Royal Mews opened a Christmas pop-up shop at Buckingham Palace for the first time from 14 November 2025 to 5 January 2026. It soon made the headlines for the wrong reasons. In today's AI-driven world, misinformation can easily spread like wildfire. Apparently, Buckingham Palace was hosting a Christmas Market behind its gates, sparking a frenzy. Visitors were soon disappointed it's just a small shop with a lot of items already available on sale at the nearby King's Gallery. Coming down the street from the palace gates where the changing of the guard takes place, I stumbled into the King's Gallery first, and a friendly staff pointed me in the right direction to find the Christmas shop. "It's just a minute down the road," she said.
