The Chinese HouseThe Chinese House is considered to be the most important example of the chinoiserie of the eighteenth century. It was built in the period 1754 to 1757 by Johann Gottfried B?ring on order of Frederick II and served as a refectory in the summer.

Neues PalaisThe New Palace is the largest 18th century structure in the Sanssouci park. It was built from 1763 to 1769 according to the plans of Johann Gottfried B?ring, Heinrich Ludwig Manger and Carl von Gontard and served Frederick II as a palace for his guests. Out of the two hundred palatial rooms some sixty can be viewed.
