St. Olav's Church is named after Norway's king. With a 159m spire, it was the tallest building in Europe until lightning struck in 1625. Today's church is the product of many renovations since and now has a 124m spire.
Be sure to head up for a view from the observation platform. The 232 steps don't take long to conquer and it is well worth the trip.
From this vantage point, you can clearly see the elevated Upper Town.
