Toronto TD Tower 54/F Photo Gallery

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe positioned the TD Executive Suite of the TD Centre 731 feet above ground level. The 54th floor was completed in 1967. The Suite is defined by a clear system of sliding walls and freestanding cabinets that maintan the sense of one uninterrupted space. Two materials define the space : English red oak paneling and furnishings and polished Italian travertine stone flooring.

The original TD Centre consisted of two towers and a banking pavilion. The 55-storey TD Bank Tower was the first to be completed and officially opened on Canada's 100th birthday - July 1, 1967. Subsequent additions were the Royal Trust Tower (1969), CP Tower (1973), 79 Wellington Street West (1985), and the Ernst and Young Tower (1991).
