Toulouse photo gallery

Toulouse is a really good short getaway from my base in London. Not yet bursting with tourists on the streets, it has a nice historic centre, beautiful riverfront, and delicious food. This place is a must-see for aviation enthusiasts, with Airbus having a huge factory presence here.

Located on the Garonne, there was plenty of clay and sand to make bricks for the city's buildings, which have a distinctly pink-ish tone. The historic centre is compact and it is easy to walk between attractions.
