Sister Ponds - Shouzhen Temple

Alishan is a very magical place, where you can admire thousand year-old trees and detox with some fresh mountain air. Many come for sunrise, but I couldn't wake up so early for it. There must be some good nature to enjoy during the day, right?

While the Sister Ponds were interesting, I enjoyed the forest walk a lot more, where there are many interesting huge trees. I next re-entered the dense forest for the short walk to Shouzhen Temple, passing by many remarkable trees along the way.

Shouzhen Temple is the area's largest with 3 gods being worshipped. There is a market around it where I grabbed a quick bite to refuel.
