Although I arrived just past visiting hours, staff at Masjid Negara allowed me in to sightsee since I wasn't in a big group. The National Mosque has a 73m high minaret and is set on a quiet side street away from the city's bustle.

This was the furthest that I could go, which was quite good already given it was outside visiting hours.
