Edinburgh Photo Gallery

Edinburgh is a very picturesque historic city well worth a few days of sightseeing with a good selection of monuments, urban planning, museums, and nature. Since it is so famous, hotels are quite expensive and I decided to base in nearby Glasgow and commute an hour each way to save some money.

Scotland's capital has been awarded World Heritage status from UNESCO. The Old Town's unique position on a volcano makes a stunning setting with its medieval architecture and plenty of tourists. You'll need a good pair of walking shoes and a lot of stamina to explore on foot. The late summer sunsets help space out the walks and take into account the unpredictable weather where sun, showers, and hail can all occur within an hour.

I'm in the midst of processing my 2024 photo set with 3 days of content. Watch out for more updates coming soon.
